WE ARE NOT AN HOA.
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
DISTRICT 5
History
In the early Spring of 2023, Charles saw a need for neighbors to come together for the common goal of keeping the neighborhood a safe and welcoming place to live in. He recruited a group of neighbors residing within Solaire that had the same mindset.
Together, they worked to activate what is known today as the "Solaire Neighborhood Association." To get started, it took a few months of meetings with the RCONA Neighborhood Organizational Committee, “homework assignments”, as well as making sure founding members stayed committed.
After numerous meetings with RCONA, the Association held their “First General Meeting” which was open to the public, on June 3rd, 2023, at Raley’s ONE Market on Blue Oaks Blvd. At this meeting, a small group of neighbors from the Solaire Neighborhood, with guidance from members of RCONA (Melinda Surmani, Jim Kidd and Scott Alvord), voted-in the sitting provisional board members into their official positions as board members. Voters approved the Association’s bylaws, as well.
The Solaire Neighborhood Association was officially approved by RCONA and established on June 15, 2023.

Who we are
The Association has a 7-member 100% volunteer board. We are neighbors who have an extraordinary sense of community. The general membership is made up of residents and businesses within the designated RCONA/Solaire boundaries. Together, we strive to unite our neighbors and forge partnerships with other stakeholders within the City of Roseville.
