Letters To Santa
This Christmas Season we started a tradition that had been discontinued the previous year that had been put on by a West Park resident. The Association acquired a hobby/craft mailbox and turned it into a Letters to Santa mailbox. We accepted letters from children coming from all the West Roseville neighborhoods. Approximately 70 letters were received and 70 responses were delivered just before Christmas Eve. In addition to responses, they were accompanied with a goodie-bag full of stickers, candy canes and other items, but most importantly, each child received either a magical bell or nice-list medallion and a nice list certificate! We received hundreds of messages and comments via social media expressing their gratitude for this activity and how all the children were so excited to have received a response. Solaire loves to see our community happy and participate in such fun and positive things!

2024 Veteran's Day Ribbon Display
To honor the many veterans in our community, board members of the association posted numerous yellow ribbons throughout neighborhood streets. The display was well received by the community and many wondered who had done the good deed. This was the 2nd year we've done this to honor our veterans and we will continue to do so each year to come. This a great tradition we have started for the entire West Roseville Community. Thank you to our veterans for your service!

About 20 families and a total of about 80 people showed up to see the movie "Hocus Pocus" in Solaire Park on October 12th. Solaire Neighborhood Association hosted a free BBQ for its residents on Memorial Day Weekend (May 25th), at the newly opened Solaire Park. The festivities included 14 vendors, mostly from Roseville, free face painting, a bounce house/ slide combo, free BBQ, desserts from a local food truck, bubble making activities, corn hole games and live music provided by a local acoustic/pop duo out of West Roseville. Solaire Competes in Stoneridge NA's Cornhole Tournament
Stoneridge Neighborhood Association’s 1st ever cornhole tournament was a win-win-win event. Held at Harry Crabb Park on Sunday, May 19th, 9 teams competed in this fundraiser for local parks in the Stoneridge neighborhood. In front of dozens of spectators, all teams played two divisional games, with four teams advancing to the playoffs.
Team Cornstarch, the most dominant team in the first two rounds, played wild card winner Team Dad Bod, while division winners Team Kevin & Dave and Team Solaire faced each other. In the playoffs, Team Dad Bod, who lost their first-round game to Team Council (Mayor Bruce Houdesheldt and Councilmember Tracy Mendonsa), pulled out an upset 13-12 victory over Team Cornstarch, while Team Kevin & Dave sent Team Solaire back across town. Team Dad Bod won a decisive victory in the finals to take home the championship.
