2024 Veteran's Day Ribbon Display

To honor the many veterans in our community, board members of the association posted numerous yellow ribbons throughout neighborhood streets. The display was well received by the community and many wondered who had done the good deed.  This was the 2nd year we've done this to honor our veterans and we will continue to do so each year to come. This a great tradition we have started for the entire West Roseville Community. Thank you to our veterans for your service!

Solaire Neighborhood Association hosted a free BBQ for its residents on Memorial Day Weekend (May 25th), at the newly opened Solaire Park. The event was sponsored by its very own residents who happen to be business owners: The Brian Hoh Group of Compass and local chiropractor, Dr. Sophia Suprai. The festivities included 14 vendors, mostly from Roseville, free face painting, a bounce house/ slide combo, free BBQ, desserts from a local food truck, bubble making activities, corn hole games and live music provided by a local acoustic/pop duo out of West Roseville. A total of 179 meals were reserved and they ended cooking up 230 burgers and hot dogs! Total in attendance was approximately 304 residents!

Solaire Competes in Stoneridge NA's Cornhole Tournament

Stoneridge Neighborhood Association’s 1st ever cornhole tournament was a win-win-win event.  Held at Harry Crabb Park on Sunday, May 19th, 9 teams competed in this fundraiser for local parks in the Stoneridge neighborhood.  In front of dozens of spectators, all teams played two divisional games, with four teams advancing to the playoffs.

Team Cornstarch, the most dominant team in the first two rounds, played wild card winner Team Dad Bod, while division winners Team Kevin & Dave and Team Solaire faced each other.  In the playoffs, Team Dad Bod, who lost their first-round game to Team Council (Mayor Bruce Houdesheldt and Councilmember Tracy Mendonsa), pulled out an upset 13-12 victory over Team Cornstarch, while Team Kevin & Dave sent Team Solaire back across town.  Team Dad Bod won a decisive victory in the finals to take home the championship.
